The Department:
»
prepares the budget proposal for the County, its
amendments throughout the year, the annual budget
accountancy and all the ensuing documents;
»
follows and controls the collection of public
proceeds and carries out budget expenditures;
»
suggests measures with the aim of increasing revenues
and decreasing expenditures;
»
keeps bookkeeping evidence in regards to budget
management, assets of the County, as well as other
records determined by special regulations;
»
organizes, implements and controls the regularity
of the procurement of goods, services and contract
awarding for the needs of County departments in
accordance with special regulations, and performs
all other interconnected activities;
»
writes, as directed by law, financial reports
about the budgetary transactions for the representative
and executive bodies of the County, the Ministry
of Finance and the State Audit;
»
follows public proceeds of local governments in
the County;
»
performs other duties when so indicated by special
laws, regulations, acts of the County Government
or Assembly;
